STEMmersive is a joint project between longtime collaborators (and best friends!) Mélissa Smith and Brittany Parker. We've both been creating theatre and music for young audiences for over a decade. Together, we've co-created and performed in make-your-own-adventure musicals, adaptations of Shakespeare, wordless puppet shows, and the insect themed pop rock band, Bee Parks and the Hornets.

Our creative goals with each STEMmersive experience combine a lot of things we're passionate about. Immersive theatre for young people. Exciting ways to engage with science. Highlighting the achievements of women and people of color. Interactive activities. Live music and puppetry. Promoting literacy. Making connections to local organizations. Amplifying environmental conservation. Touring to new regions. Creating experiences that delight not just kids, but their adults, too!

We are proud to work with an amazing roster of collaborators on our projects, which have previously included Katie Melby, Ingrid Larson, Giverny Petitmermet, Kyra Sims, EMay, and Penelope and Eleanor (ages 10 & 8).
